Manuel Ron, a grower from the south of Cordoba Province in Argentina, has joined the Board of MAIZALL as a Director. Manuel grows corn, soybeans and cattle and is a distributor of seed, crop protection products and fertilizers. Manuel also runs a corn ethanol business, produces biogas and is a co-founder of a climate technology company.
Manuel, an agronomic engineer by training, is a Board member of Maizar, the Maize and Sorghum Association of Argentina, which is one of the members of MAIZALL. With his long experience in several aspects of agribusiness, Manuel will be able to bring not only his operational agricultural knowledge to MAIZALL, but also his expertise in the sustainable use of agricultural by-products and carbon farming.
Manuel replaced Alberto Morelli on the MAIZALL Board. Alberto is one MAIZALL’s founding Directors and will become an alternate Director, in which capacity he will continue to provide MAIZALL with his invaluable insights.
