MAIZALL Contribution to FAO’s Latin America Conference

At the invitation of FAO Latin America, MAIZALL Director Sergio Bortolozzo and its Coordinator represented MAIZALL during two virtual meetings to prepare for the region’s biannual ministerial conference on October 19-21. During this process, MAIZALL contributed to the drafting of the private sector’s Declaration with messages that are in line with MAIZALL's objectives and mission. These include references to the importance of science-based decision-making, the role of technology and innovation in promoting sustainable and productive agriculture, the respect for international trade rules and the rule of law.
